Elevation Gay Ski Week Park City

For the past 11 years Elevation Mammoth has been delivering gay times on the slopes in California. Then, four years ago, the event finally found its way to Utah’s Park City.
The 4th Annual Gay Ski Week Park City will take place February 20-23, 2014. Its ongoing success is credited to a winning combination of dance parties headlined by some of the biggest DJs in the country, relaxed “bar-oriented” social gatherings, plus the best skiing and snowboarding on the planet. Obviously.
As well as Elevation events throughout Park City, gay guys and girls can make the most of the top restaurants and hotels the resorts have to offer – here’s a list of gay-friendly eateries. Simple. And, unlike its Californian counterpart, Elevation Park City is super-easy to get to; from Salt Lake City Airport you can be downtown in just 30 minutes, getting your chat on with some Hotty McTotty.
Some gay party weeks have earned a reputation for being a little, errr, pretentious. Not so the Elevation posse. The crowds are consistently friendly, casual and raring for some off-the-wall fun. It would be impossible for you to leave minus new friends and a head full of happy memories (although some may be a bit blurred around the edges…)
Or, in the words of the Elevation crew: “Be friendly. Introduce yourself. This is the kind of weekend where everyone loses the attitude. No judgement, no pretension, no waiting around to see if he talks to you first. The guy you meet one night will be the friend you ski with the next day.”
Elevation is all about celebration, diversity and fun, and that’s exactly what they’ve found in Utah’s Park City and Salt Lake City. Local organisation such as HRC, the Pride Center and others local charities have all gotten behind the 2014 Gay Ski Week.
