Things to Do in Park City

Just ‘cause you came to Utah for the snow, doesn’t mean that’s all the things to do in Park City and beyond.

In and around Utah’s Park City there’s off-slope activities to impress every member of your brood – so much so that we won’t be at all surprised if you’re tempted to book your next Utah winter holiday with us right then and there.

Here’s Destination Utah’s top pick of things to do in Park City, Utah…

Tubing at Gorgoza Park

Try as you might to pretend this one’s for the little’uns in your posse, we both know you’re raring to jump on a tube and throw yourself full-tilt down the slope.

The park offers seven lighted tubing lanes broken down into levels: 5-12 year olds; beginners; and advanced. Tickets are available from a single ride, to four tubetastic hours.

Hot Spring Caves

If you’re looking for things to do in Park City that are a titch less hectic, make a beeline for the hot spring caves at Homestead Resort, 20 minutes outside of the town centre.

The naturally hollowed-out limestone rock is filled with 90-96 degree water. Standing about 55 feet tall and 45 feet deep, the space is available for swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, or relaxing Utah style.

And, once you’ve worked up an appetite, head on over to Fanny’s Grill for home-style western cooking.

Park City Museum

Before you roll your eyes at us suggesting somewhere educational on your ski holiday – savages – Park City Museum isn’t the bog-standard musty place of learning you might expect.

Both interactive and engaging, you’ll discover all sorts of stuff about quads and six-packs (on the mountain, that is, not in your fridge). Plus, you can even sit in a mining train that once transported skiers into the depths of an old silver mine.
