Canyons Resort for Children
Whether you’re after top instructors to instil a life-long love of skiing and snowboarding in your little’uns, or off-piste adventures to keep the whole family entertained, Canyons Resort for children delivers the ultimate snow experience.
Ski and Snowboard School
Canyons Resort’s ski and snowboarding instructors are recruited from all four corners of the globe. Their passion for teaching is contagious, whether your kids are taking part in day care, private lessons, group lessons or specialty clinics.
Is this the first time your children will tackle the slopes? The Ski and Snowboard School teaches about equipment, the environment, balance, falling, turning and stopping. Beginner, intermediate and advanced teachings expertly build upon their existing ski experience.
Childcare and Preschool
If you fancy a little time flying solo over the slopes, Canyons Resort’s Little Adventures Children’s Center is a state-licensed childcare facility offering age-appropriate activities to kids from six weeks to six years of age, including arts and craft, plus indoor and outdoor play and learning.
The center is open seven days a week throughout the ski season, and half-days are available on a drop-in basis.
Zip Tours
Give your children with a birds-eye view of Canyons Resort mid-mountain. The Red Pine Zip Tour, open to kids aged seven and older, takes visitors on an 800-feet tree top ride through the Red Pine Lodge area. Nearby Lookout Zip Tour, open to children ten and over, takes things up a notch with a 2,111-feet journey.
Zip tour tickets can be booked online.

Take the whole family off the beaten track at Canyons Resort with the gentle private family snowshoe tour, suitable for ages 5+. The two hour adventure takes place amongst the aspen meadows. On pristine cover create snow angels and snow forts, or simply take time to soak up the solitude.
