When the ski lifts shut down for the day, there’s no better way to celebrate a job well done than relaxing with friends or family.

Down-to-Earth Apres Ski

If it’s a guy’s holiday you’re having and you’re on the hunt for somewhere that will welcome your wolf pack, head on over to Doolan’s Sports Bar, ParkCity, 738 Main St.

There’s a decent pick of beers on tap, plenty of flat-screened TVs, and classic bar food to line your belly.

Ladies, unless your idea of a good time is talking to his profile as he watches whatever game’s on, we’d recommend leaving the lads to it while you head down Main St to find a fabulous bar.

If you’re after apres that will appeal to both the guys and the girls in your posse, go over to the Sidecar, which sits in a mall at 333 Main St.

It’s a local hotspot, whether you fancy just taking it easy, or you want to have yourself a wee dance. Plus, Sidecar’s Fat Kid pizzas are delish, and drinks won’t bust yo’ budget.

Fancy-Casual Park City-Style 

Canyon’s Umbrella Bar is a top spot to strut your apres ski stuff, and get a little people watching of your own in. Nestled between the Red Pine Gondola and the Beach, there’s a definite party vibe going on here most evenings.

OK, so strictly speaking the staff at St. Regis Bar don’t give a hoot what patrons wear, but we like to think that getting tarted up will help take your mind of the price of the delicious cocktails. We’re talking ‘Hellllooo Tokyo’ expensive.

Located at 2300 Deer Valley Drive East, even if you only stick around for one tipple, it’s totally worth it for the views from the terrace alone.

Fancy-Schmancy Utah-Style 

If you’re feeling particularly well heeled, point your Prada towards Stein Eriksen Lodge’s Troll Hallen Lounge at 7700 Stein Way. It’s cosy without being claustrophobic, and subtly elegant.

Not one for the loud and lairy, choose this spot apres ski if you fancy a relaxing wine or single malt by the fire.
