That all sounds a little fancy to us, but there’s no arguing the Spa Montage team knows their way around tired, aching muscles.

The day we visited, our body’s personalized language was screaming ‘Gimme the Après Ease!’ followed shortly by ‘Pedicure me!’

At $185 for 60 minutes, the Après Ease doesn’t come cheap, but in that time you’ll regain the flexibility to hit the slopes. Stressed muscles be gone! Plus, you’ll walk out their doors feeling super chilled.

St Regis Deer Crest, Park City

The St Regis Deer Crest offers pained patrons the whole pampering shebang, including facial and body treatments, massage treatments, fitness and wellness, and salon services.

If, like us, you’re a bit of a beauty product groupie, you won’t be disappointed with what’s on offer at the St Regis; their line reads like a who’s who of beauty bigwigs including Remede, Skincuticals and Phyto Hair Care.

The St Regis offers gift certificates, so we sent off a member of our group who Would. Not. Stop. Moaning about how sore her muscles were.

The solution? Their Hot Stone Treatment followed by Oxygen Inhalation Therapy. She came back a different, much more relaxed person, and the whole group was happy.

Golden Door Spa, Park City Waldorf

We just couldn’t resist checking out the Golden Door Spa at Park City’s Waldorf Astoria, after being told on more than one occasion that it was the last word in luxury.

‘It’s totally research,’ we told ourselves while eyeballing our credit cards.

Still feeling the effects from the previous day’s POW pummelling, we decided to try the spa’s Mountain Salvation. Promising to get us back on the slopes stat, the therapist targeted all those stressed areas that only make their presence known after a hard day’s skiing.

Applying an in-house high-altitude blend oil and pain relieving gel, we were worked over using Sports-style massage techniques. The result? We were limber as a mountain goat and raring to take on the best that Park City has to offer.
